gallery space.
a while back i bought these nifty frames from target. you hang them on the wall and then the frame part opens out—sort of like a medicine cabinet—so you can easily switch out kid art. we've had all sorts of drawings and paintings in there, but this set seemed sort of special. the boys painted these last week with their pompa. and nerd i am, i put little gallery signs (cardstock hung with painters tape) up under them to give people the whole story ...

ps—the geography lesson on the chalkboard? well, tripper was out of town in idaho the week before i left. his flight got back friday night and off i went, first to dc and then to new york, on saturday. the boys really like to know where daddy is when he travels in reference to where they live, so i do this a lot with them. this time i had to add where mommy was going too. i'm the map i'm the map i'm the map i'm the map i'm the maaaaaaaaaaaap.
